Artificial sweeteners are calorie-free but inflammatory to the body and can worsen migraine headaches. Therefore, they are not recommended for use. (Also for healthy people)
Non-natural substances are perceived by the body as an "external invader" substance and are broken down by the liver, forced to work hard in the modern diet. Artificial sweeteners are calorie-free but a bad alternative because a healthy weight over time is associated with good health! It is better to use natural sugar substitutes such as honey, dates honey, carob powder, maple syrup, and stevia; they contain calories but are healthier.
