Discussion: I come to the hospital often. I always see doctors with the stethoscope lying on their shoulders and wrapping their necks. I do not understand why?

There are departments where stethoscopes are more frequently used, especially in departments related to the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. I appreciate that those who wrap the stethoscope around their necks (I did not examine the subject in depth) are similar to pilots who wear flight wings on their uniforms - a status symbol! The doctor's gown usually has a large pocket that the stethoscope can fit in quite easily.
