Discussion: Why can women abstain from sex for long periods? (Unlike men)

There are two main explanations for this well-known phenomenon: (Evolutionary and energetic)

1 Evolutionary - a woman's limited ability to conceive and bear offspring, so she must choose the most suitable partner.
2 The energetic explanation is fundamentally different: The man's positive (giving) pole is in the groin area, while the woman's positive pole is in the chest area, near the heart. The man is charged (and receives under certain conditions) with energy through sex, and the woman through love.
