I believe the answer to this complex question is yes, but a comprehensive study is needed to explain the pineal gland's underlying role, known by mystics as the third eye. As many mystics claim, suppose the pineal gland is the telepathic organ. In that case, there is a reasonable possibility that the size of the gland also indicates the extent of activity it produces. More vital telepathic contact is associated with better intuition.
