It is always advisable to eat foods that are easy to digest. Moist, soft, and small cut food, chewed well, digested more easily. Cooked food loses nutritional value but is easier to digest than uncooked food. People suffering from chronic intestinal diseases should eat mainly cooked food during intestinal rehabilitation. Easily digested food is absorbed better and helps in weight loss regarding the same food and calories that are hard to digest.
