Low-fat meats and dairy products are harder to digest, as fat lubricates the intestinal walls and improves the absorption of nutrients. Foods that are easier to digest, paradoxically, are also less fattening. Eating meat and dairy products with a reasonable fat percentage and not 0 is advisable.
