Smoking is the process of flavoring, browning, cooking, or preserving food by exposing it to smoke from burning or smoldering material, most often wood.
Smoking often dries out food and makes it difficult to digest. Smoke contains unnatural substances in the body that interfere with the digestive and various metabolic processes. Patients with chronic gastrointestinal diseases and patients with chronic diseases, in general, are advised to avoid smoking foods.
