Blood tests indicated a deficient level of vitamin D. Should I be exposed to the sun or use supplements as suggested to me?

The sun is the source of life on earth. People mistakenly avoid controlled sun exposure! Many people today have a chronic vitamin D deficiency. The additives are not absorbed as in the natural fortification of sun exposure. Vitamin D3 is a cholesterol derivative and has a far-reaching effect on the immune system, as many recent studies have shown in the context of the coronavirus. It is advisable not to expose the skin of the face and neck to the sun; a hat and sunglasses should be worn. Controlled sun exposure should be performed without sunscreen. It is advisable to emphasize that sun exposure does not cause skin cancer, but excessive exposure can damage the skin.
