In advanced liver cirrhosis stages, the body tries to save energy; therefore, there is a sharp weight loss. (As it happened to me - I lost 24 kg (53 pounds) within 6 months.) A liver transplant or very challenging but life-saving treatment with the self-healing method is usually required in such a situation.
Sharp weight loss due to a severe illness without dietary change is a sign of concern. Medicine does not attribute drastic weight changes to the connection to the energy of life.
