Acupuncture, in the hands of a specialist doctor, can inject and balance energy into blocked energy channels (meridians). It may be vital for cancer patients. At the same time, there is often a need for many series of treatments. Acupuncture in cancer patients can be painful. Acupuncture is a highly recommended treatment for cancer patients, with an anti-inflammatory diet, detoxification, and especially an emphasis on releasing unresolved traumas from the past. (especially in young cancer patients) Acupuncture is an effective and excellent treatment that should be a component in self-healing cancer treatments, but not a stand-alone therapy.
I am not a specialist in Chinese medicine. However, I have been in China intermittently for 18 years. I experienced about 300 hundred painful acupuncture in China by several doctors. I believe that acupuncture helped me stay alive in a situation where others would have died long ago!
