There are two main steps in releasing unresolved traumas: It is essential to emphasize psychological therapies, not penetrating the subconscious. They are necessary for other contexts - but not in rehab treatments!
Releasing traumatic events is a challenging process that takes a long time. Recovery from chronic diseases and addictions is often difficult without the release of unresolved traumas. It took me several years.
1 The first step is to locate the unresolved traumatic event (or events). It is important to emphasize that most people cannot perform self-psychoanalysis, especially in childhood events and the distant past. (Sometimes also events related to deceased relatives)
2 The second step is to release the traumatic events (on a mental level) to return to consciousness, where they are harmless, even if very painful! The release of the traumas does not involve forgetting.
