The usual explanation is, of course, the emotional differences, but it also reflects the energetic differences. The human body has a 3D magnetic field between the positive and negative poles. In women, the positive pole (giver) is in the chest area, near the heart, while the negative pole is in the groin area. In men, the picture is reversed. Unrequited love damages the energetic pole and is a source not only of emotional damage and possible depression but also of a long list of diseases, including cancer. It's no surprise that breast cancer accounts for 30% of cancers in women.
Why do women suffer more than men from unrequited love?
