Discussion: Are we living in a more alienated world?

As a sick person who has been fighting for his life for many years, I feel that people, especially in the cities, are very busy with themselves. The sense of brotherhood and togetherness gave way to complete individualism. Humans are primarily motivated by interests. Kindness, mercy, and empathy remain, but you must look for them with the candles. Is anyone excited by the scary sights coming from Ukraine? Only when Putin threatens the West with nuclear weapons. Murder, rape, and looting are not exciting topics for the news; at best, there is a brief report. Politics is a shallow reflection of the society we live in.
