Likely, fighter jets will still be flown by pilots and not only by sophisticated simulators, at least in the coming decades. On commercial flights, flying without a human pilot is just a matter of a few decades. In any case, even today, the plane flies itself, with very little intervention from the pilots, mainly in take-offs and landings, using a very sophisticated flight computer. The main question is what will not be replaced by robots and advanced computing. The answer to the question is philosophical-mathematical and concerns the limitations of computing.
