Discussion: I was at a stage where my spirit could no longer withstand additional physical pain.

After years of relentless pain and suffering in the advanced stages of recovery, I could not return to available and familiar acupuncture. Although it would undoubtedly shorten my recovery, I could no longer endure pain. (Acupuncture, in my case, is especially painful)
