Discussion: Is it possible to believe in God without being religious and observant? (Personal worldview)

I found myself believing in God (as an abstract figure), but I belong without the rituals, commandments, and rites of the Jewish religion. (This is how I was born.) I believe God does not need worship and rituals! God expects us to be good, honest, merciful, tolerant, and human-loving. Of course, I respect all religions and believers in them.
