The right act is very individual. It is a dramatic change in life. No one but you can know what is right to do. When a woman (or man) lives a life they are not whole with, they are unhappy, and so is their spouse! Kids always love their moms. At first, it may be difficult for them to accept the change, but the younger generation is now more open to once-considered taboo situations. The first step is to tell the husband and hear what he thinks. You will be surprised to hear that he knew about your sexual orientation, perhaps secretly in his heart. It may be possible to end a marriage dignifiedly without quarreling. On a mental level, it is probably easier for a man to accept that his wife is attracted to women and not to another man.
