"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves." Confucius (551 BC – 479 BC) was a Chinese teacher, politician, and philosopher. By Simran Khurana (Updated March 18, 2017)
As someone who suffered from liver cirrhosis, a terminal condition, I fought for many years in unbearably difficult conditions. I spent in China alone for about fifteen years intermittently on exhausting and painful treatments. In the advanced stages of recovery, I realized that revenge would only hurt me! I released my ex-wife. I realized I was closing a circle and starting a new life. Revenge also hurts those who seek revenge. Do not try to take revenge - walk away and let go.
