According to the description you gave, there is a possibility that you are asexual. Asexual people are not emotionless! They lack sexual attraction. Biologically, you are perfectly normal. Asexuality is a fairly common phenomenon. Asexuality is not a hereditary trait. (As you implied in your email)
In asexual people, the energetic communication( transfer and receive) mechanism does not function properly. Since they cannot transfer and receive energy through sexual intercourse, they do not gain anything from sex and, therefore, do not participate.
