Dialysis treatments are supportive care to prevent further deterioration. Dialysis patients have low kidney function. Dialysis is not intended to rehabilitate the kidneys but to keep the patient alive. Given the appropriate conditions (mental & physical), all chronic acquired (non-genetic) diseases are curable! Recovery is always achievable, even from severe, long-term chronic diseases like CKD.
Recovery from kidney failure is always possible! Recovery combines body, mind, and spirit and may be exceptionally prolonged, but it will dramatically improve your quality of life.
