Ethical issues regarding chronic prostatitis patients. Treatment of chronic prostatitis usually does not require frequent use of a stethoscope.

There are departments where a stethoscope is used more frequently, especially those related to the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. I believe those who wrap the stethoscope around their necks (I did not examine the subject in depth) are similar to pilots who wear flight wings on the uniform—a status symbol! The doctor's gown usually has a large pocket that the stethoscope can fit in quite easily.
