Ethical issues regarding autoimmune patients. The stethoscope is a status symbol and an essential tool in doctors' hands. Of course, it is not necessarily related to autoimmune diseases.

There are departments where a stethoscope is more frequently used, especially those related to the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. I appreciate that those who wrap the stethoscope around their necks (I did not examine the subject in depth) are similar to pilots who wear flight wings on the uniform—a status symbol! The doctor's gown usually has a large pocket that the stethoscope can fit in quite easily.
