Stents of the liver allow (temporarily) improvement in bile flow, but the liver is a large organ, and bile tends to solidify. The stent itself creates inflammation. The liver is not sterile; therefore, stents tend to develop an infection. For those who will look at the pictures in the gallery, the images will illustrate why it is impossible to solve the problem of an injured liver using stents!
Inserting stents into the liver does not allow for liver-flushing techniques, and the risk of coffee enemas also becomes significant. The stents' displacement can cause internal damage and bleeding in the liver, creating difficult-to-treat inflammation.
Doctors do not tend to suggest liver and gallbladder flushes or a combination with coffee enemas because these are perceived techniques of self-healing medicine (alternative medicine), but this is the only practical option that does not cause severe damage to the liver and does not involve an invasive operation that carries risks.
